SUMMARY:ICOM Community Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) will be hosting its third annual community Health Fair on Saturday\, February 25\, 2023\, from 10 AM – 2 PM at its Meridian-based campus. Community members from the Treasure Valley and beyond are encouraged to attend and obtain free health services\, connect with area providers and students\, and learn more about wellness opportunities in the area.  \nThe fair is organized by ICOM’s Community Outreach Committee and Student Government Association\, and will offer complimentary blood pressure screening\, vision and hearing exams\, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT)\, among other free services. Mammograms and clinical breast exams will also be available with the support from the St. Alphonsus Mobile Mammography Bus. Additionally\, local organizations including the Idaho Food Bank will be offering educational resources and promotions\, and Aaron Flake Health Agency will be offering Medicare Insurance assistance. ICOM student organizations will be supporting the event with activities and patient education\, as well. Health services will only be available for those 18 and older\, but all ages are welcome to attend. \nMammography sign-up can be completed at https://www.idahocom.org/events/third-annual-community-health-fair/.
